Main Activities of SECUDA

Year	Activities
2009	18th April 2009: Participated in the GB Meeting of Krang Seng Khasi School and resolved to adopt the school by sponsoring pay for two teachers @ Rs.2500/- each for one year. (By a group of past pupils who are well placed in Society - M.F. Blah, b.S. Rumnong, D.R. Thangkhiew, B.S. Thangkhiew, H.S. Thangkhiew, Iban Swer, Arwon Tariang, K. Kharkongor, Sanbor R. Thangkhiew, B.D. Sawian) Blood Group determining camp to 1800 students of Seng Khasi College, conducted on 23rd May, 25th May, 1st June, 27th June. (By Past pupils of SEC)
2008	Participated in the National Seminar on "Look South Policy" at SEC Participated in the National Seminar on Toxicity, at SEC Participated in all the College Week Functions and sponsored refreshments for Cross Country Race, Cycling, etc. and make all necessary arrangements like logistical support, Police, Ambulance, etc. The members of SECUDA were Actively involved in the preparation of Project Reports and Concept Papers for the CIC and DBT Funding The members of SECUDA were actively involved in the organization of the National Seminar on "Look South - A Meghalaya Perspective". The members helped organize funds, presented Papers and conducted different sessions as Chairpersons.
2007	The members of SECUDA took all the right initiatives to secure financial aid from the Govt. of Meghalaya to organize the Study Tour Programme of the Life Sciences Departments of SEC SECUDA sponsored 600 mementos for the felicitation function of the graduating classes SECUDA jointly sponsored the construction of the stage, pandal and ramp for the Annual "Young Talent Time (YTT)" program cum Prize Distribution Prize Distribution Ceremony during College Week
2006	Participated in the College Week activities as Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, in the Prize Distribution Functions Sponsored refreshments to the participants and volunteers in the Cross Country Race and Cycling Race during College Week Sponsored petrol to the bikes/scooters/cars, etc. of Organisers and Volunteers during Cross Country and Cycling Race Helped in seeking permission from various authorities - Police Dept. (Traffic and Escorts), Health Dept. (Ambulance with a Doctor, Nurses, Attendants and First Aid medicines) - for the Cross Country & Cycling Race Guided and helped SEC in seeking financial assistance from the State and Central Govts and frm Legislators for College Development (Eg. Mr. P. R. Kyndiah, MP - Grant to the College)
