The following are the main activities carried out by the Placement Cell:

• Coordinates career counseling and placement related activities conducted by various organizations.
• The Cell invites various service providers like IT companies, prominent BPOs, Banks, Universities, Aviation Industry, Management Institutes etc., to conduct Recruitment drives, seminars and presentations on the jobs and career opportunities available for students.
• Corresponds with various organizations, and provides them with support and facilities required to carry out various career guidance and placement related programmes. All the correspondence are done through our official email address: sec.placementcell@gmail.com and sec_placementcell@bsnl.in

For smooth flow of information related to the various activities like counseling programmes, seminars etc. to the students, the cell makes use of its own notice board as well as the students' notice board. For the same purpose it also contains a committee involving at least one member from every department. Information related to the activities of the cell are also passed to the students to their respective Departments through these members.
